TOWIE star Joey Essex visits Coventry Morrisons

Queues of star-struck teenagers turned out to meet TOWIE star Joey Essex in Coventry today.



The fake-tan-loving celeb from The Only Way is Essex was at at Morrisons in Holyhead Road promoting a new detergent.

Fans who bought Surf Summer D’reem were given the opportunity to meet Joey and have their photo taken with him.

A huge queue formed quickly, and excited fans screamed as he arrived at the event, dressed in tight skinny jeans and a turquoise and yellow patterned shirt.

Baileigh McCarthy, aged 16, said: ‘‘I just love Joey so much, it makes me want to cry.

"He is beautiful and I want to kiss him."

However, it was not only girls who couldn’t wait to meet Joey.

Leon Russell, 20, who attended Coundon Court School, said:

"Joey Essex is my role model - I want to be just like him."
