Coronation Street topped the soap ratings on Friday, but dipped well below 7m for its second episode.
For its 7.30pm instalment, the Weatherfield soap grabbed a decent 7.5m (35.1%) for Tracy's sabotage of Lloyd, which was also seen by 157k (0.7%) on ITV1 +1.
However, the audience dropped to just 6.31m (28.1%) and 161k (0.7%) on +1 for Steve and Lloyd's sports day brawl an hour later.
EastEnders logged 7.21m (32.9%) for its first showing at 8pm, while BBC Three's 10pm repeat nabbed 644k (3.1%) at 10pm, and the Omnibus averaged 274k (5.9%) from midnight back on BBC One.
Emmerdale finished the week on 6.1m (28.6%) at 7pm (+1: 142k/0.7%), while Hollyoaks pulled in 707k (3.3%) at 6.30pm (+1: 158k/0.7%) and 540k (2.5%) for E4's first look half-an-hour later at 7pm (+1: 148k/0.7%).
Elsewhere, Channel 5's lunchtime screening of Neighbours drew an impressive 717k (7.4%), ahead of the Australian serial's teatime airing which had 653k (3.6%).
Home and Away, meanwhile, interested 581k (2.9%) at 6pm and 312k (1.7%) for 5*'s first look.
