A troublesome Coventry pub which was stripped of its licence after a string of problems including mass brawls, drug dealing and prostitution, could re-open its doors.
The Pilot, in Burnaby Road, Radford, was banned from selling booze last December and closed down following complaints from people living nearby.
Police were called out 16 times between March 10 and October 2 last year to deal with problems at the pub and the council eventually decided to order it to close.
But bosses at Enterprise Inns, which owns the building, appealed against the decision and have made a list of proposed conditions to be agreed with the council and police to allow the pub to trade again.
They will be considered by a licence review meeting at the Council House on Friday.
The licensing conditions include installing CCTV cameras, no alcohol outside the pub after 10pm, better training for staff and an incident log to record all crimes at the pub, drugs or offensive weapons, refusals of alcohol and any visit by a relevant authority or emergency services.
Other conditions involve closing all doors and windows when hosting entertainment, drinks being served in plastic cups and a minimum of two door staff on duty each Friday and Saturday from 9pm until closing time.
