Postby dutchman » Wed Dec 29, 2010 1:56 pm

Dear Lord,
This year you took my favorite actor, Patrick Swayze.
You took my favorite actress, Farrah Fawcett.
You took my favorite singer, Michael Jackson.
Spoiler:
I just wanted to let you know, my favorite President is Barack Obama.
Amen

Larry was a true gent, literally one of a dying breed.

RIP Larry
Of course it'll fit; you just need a bigger hammer.

I was amazed by the way Larry maintained his sense of humour right up until the bitter end.

I hope that when my time comes I can be half as brave as he was.

He was a "Wyken kid," wasn't he? I seem to remember he grew up around Blackberry Lane as I did. I think we also both worked for the same aircraft company, though a few years apart.

Radford I believe although I never got the chance to ask him why he spent so much time as a kid hanging around the Far Gosford St area?

Larry was a cargo handler by profession and would probably have remained one had he not moved to the USA. Once over there he achieved rapid promotion, helped found Air America (hence the shirt) and eventually became vice-president of thirty different airlines.
