Brentford have signed former Sunderland defender Stephen Wright on a free transfer until the end of the season. The 30-year-old had been out of contract since being released by Coventry in the summer and has spent the last week training with the Bees.
"Stephen brings with him experience and knowledge of the game," Brentford boss Andy Scott told the club website.
"He will give us the competition in the one position where we have little cover and should prove a valuable asset."
