Back in '82

A British Guards officer was in battle on the Falklands in 82 with his Company. They were under heavy mortar fire and as he was leading the attack he was hit. His arm was blown clean off from the shoulder. He stood up and started looking around.

The Company Sergeant Major yelled at him, 'Get down Sir, we need to get that wound dressed!'

The Captain replied, 'No, I need to find my arm!'

'Sir, you need to get down! You are in shock. You don't need that arm now!'

'I bloody do!
