Anyone else noticing a shortage of certain items on the shelves, in particular supermarket own-brands?

Yes, but so far it has largely worked to my advantage as Tesco substitute for what they have but only charge for their own brand. ;)

I've particularly noticed it with pet food, unfortunately, this does cause me a spot of grief as my two are very fussy about what they eat.
Of course it'll fit; you just need a bigger hammer.

What happened to pork chops?

I see lamb chops, albeit at hugely inflated prices. Also pork so-called 'loin steaks', which are a lot like chops but extremely tough and without the bone but no pork chops as such.
