Keisha Buchanan: 'Sugababes song Get Sexy shouldn't have happened'



Keisha Buchanan has revealed that her least favourite Sugababes track is 'Get Sexy'.

The singer admitted that the Bruno Mars-penned song, which reached number two on the charts in 2009, "shouldn't have happened".

"Um, 'Get Sexy' shouldn't have happened," she told Official Charts.

"It was amazing working with Bruno, and we'd love to work with him in this line-up, but... I just didn't feel like that was a representation of who we were as a band but we didn't, at that point, have a lot of say."

'Get Sexy' was the last Sugababes song to feature Buchanan after she was ousted shortly after and replaced by Jade Ewen for follow-up single 'About A Girl'.

Ewen recently revealed that the Sugababes effectively broke up two years ago, adding: "I don't feel comfortable lying, saying we're in the studio recording and we're going to bring music out next year, which seems to be the favoured line."

Meanwhile, Buchanan and her former Sugababes bandmates Siobhan Donaghy and Mutya Buena release their new album in early 2014.
