The Romans changed the Map of England. Saint BENEDICTINE great monastery was MONTE CASSINO, South of Rome, not only did the Lichfield He reduced them from learning, discouraged all from all knowledge.
Near the end of the century a new Norman Bishop was worse ,so bad they broke his skull with a stoat wooden cross, but the pope of ROME was informed, the Pope expelled from the priory but a monk from COVENTRY was in ROME trying to explain, change his mind, he did that on his death-bed, Pope Innocence III gave them back the monastery and much more beside and the troublesome affair ended.
