Remember when ice cream still had some texture to it?

 Thanks for the posting.

D Di was the last "real" ice cream we had around here.
Of course it'll fit; you just need a bigger hammer.

I was a great fan of "Victor's" myself, the Mancinis being local to me in Whitefriars Street.

I'm probably also the only person here who remembers the ice-cream seller's tricycle in Pool Meadow? The owner showed us how it worked once. Underneath the ice-creams there were blocks of dry ice to keep it cool.

Will deffo go and see them.

D Di for me too - we had two vans visit Stonehouse Estate during the 70's and the D Di one was always 1st choice. Always a bonus if mum sent one of us out to get a tub filled with ice cream.

When I was in Coventry last weekend we visited the Coventry Motor Museum and I thought this exhibition was fascinating - certainly brought back some memories!!

I loved the Motor Museum - first time I'd been in there - and well worth a visit  I'm amazed it's free !!
