An interesting page of fondly remembered days.

Of course it'll fit; you just need a bigger hammer.

I've got Merciless Sound on my kitchen radio because it doesn't pick up many stations and I've just heard John Daziel say that hamsters store nuts for the winter in their cheeks. what a :clown: :rolling:

I wasn't aware it still existed? There's no FM distribution system around here. Also Kixx96 tends to drown out any other station in the area.

On the few occassions I did listen to it I was unimpressed. Mercia was part-owned at the time by the Telegraph and they had a policy of not broadcasting any news which might interfere with sales of the local newspaper. In other words we got very little local news during the day and absolutely none at night.

If a radio station isn't on Freeview then I don't listen to it any more.
