I was watching this Jaguar Mk2 last night on Quest:

It eventually went for $70,000.
Was very surprised to learn it had factory-fitted air-conditioning, I didn't think it was an option in those days?

Based on a Nissan?
Of course it'll fit; you just need a bigger hammer.

Yep, Mitsuoka Viewt based on the Nissan Micra, first of the current wave of retro-style cars.

I thought at first it might be a variant of a Jaguar Mk2 2.4 or Daimler 250 I'd not come across before.

There's a Triumph Herald for sale on Facebook Marketplace but it looks a bit too far gone to me?

He's having a laugh at that price. There was a very decent one at a local dealers about 12 months ago for around £4.5k, and he struggled to shift it!

To be fair, the panels are only bolt-on (or rivet, as can be seen on the sill) but that needs extensive work. I'd want a damned good look under at the chassis. I'm not sure of the value of a GRP front end, I guess it depends on your view as regards authenticity?

MOT expired 2009

The one in Banbury?

It's a 1300 though without the classic Herald front-end styling.

That's nice, but the one I saw was a dark blue 13/60. IIRC it was a J reg as well.
