No identification on this, other than "Coventry". Any ideas of location or date?
Of course it'll fit; you just need a bigger hammer.

Rebbonk - I was a bit gobsmacked when I saw this picture. I believe this is when the Jaguar was based in Holbrook Lane. They were originally called Swallow Side Cars if my memory serves me correctly.
The factory eventually became the Dunlop and Jaguar moved to Browns Lane. There's a link below.

I actually lived right opposite this factory when I was a kid.

Hope this is helpful.

Have a little more information. I actually have a book entitled 'Jaguar - a history of a great British car' by Andrew Whyte. I bought this book because I found out by pure accident that my father was mentioned in the book.

This very picture is featured in the book. Approx. date 1945-48. The road down which the employees are coming was called Swallow Road which led straight on to Holbrook Lane.

Note the bricked up doorways on either side - a relic of when no-one would share the resurfacing cost with Lyons!!

The quote from the picture.

Here's a more up to date picture of the same factory - this was taken in 1971.
