Good question Flapdoodle, I have no idea myself. Following the fatal accident in the Market Clock tower the council would probably have reservations about the public using it, even if it still exists. If I remember corectly, post-war pictures showed the inside of the tower filled with rubble which presumably fell from above.

This is the only picture I've ever seen of the inside...

Of course it'll fit; you just need a bigger hammer.
