Yes it is!

I seem to remember that next door was for many years a butcher's shop, above which was one of the earliest examples of the rogue asterisk - it read in very large painted letters, looking up Bishop Street - "MEAT AT IT'S BEST"
Nowadays the rogue asterisk appears so very often it's a non-event, but back in the 1950s it was most unusual!
