I love old churches.

I'm not religious, but there's really something about these places that just clicks with me.
Of course it'll fit; you just need a bigger hammer.

Same here Rebbonk, with me its the wonderful architecture and detail which makes me look every where trying to take it all in and the tranquility yet they hold a presence of their own in each.

I remember Father Walsh well, he used to come to school frequently and amuse us with his jokes. Do you know the year this photo was taken Dutchman? I can't remember the entrance of the church looking like that. My wedding photos in 1964 show 5 steps at the front of the church and no railings.

Afraid not Tricia, the picture is from the city library collection and there are few details provided. I think Father Walsh was a bit before my time, Father McCabe was in charge when I went there.
