There is a paperback by John Ashby called "The Character of Coventry" which has a details of almost all the pubs which ever existed in the city centre. It is also invaluable for determining when a particular street was closed or when a row of buildings was demolished. Unfortunately most of the information it contains about the Turk's Head is from 1901 onwards when it was known by many different names.creteskyblue wrote:Dutchman, if you are reading this, can you advise where you got your info from?
