You know you're old when...

...you can remember when "bath night" was a major event!

Younger readers will think I'm kidding but believe me I'm not.

And I was lucky in that every house I lived in had a bathroom and hot water, albeit sometimes very different to what they are today. Most of my friends were far less fortunate. Some didn't even have a toilet let alone a bathroom!

I mention it because a lot of the "How we used to live" videos on YouTube I've watched recently seem to think everyone lived in a manor house with central heating and running hot water whereas in reality very few people had either.
