CHERISHED childhood memories of 'Growing up in Bed'uth' are now being shared with the whole community.
Townsfolk have shared stories and photographs for aptly-named 'Growing up in Bed'uth' exhbition.
It is due to be officially opened at Bedworth Heritage Centre this Friday.
John Burton, spokesperson for the centre, explained: "Many people have contributed their memories of growing up in the town and many of them have provided photos as well as their written memories.
"But we are still hoping to have more additions to the exhibition, which will run until the middle of May."
Among those to share their tales are Roger Adamsells, whose passed on stories of the dog his family had when he was a child.
Margaret Aitchison remembered growing up during the war years, with all the shortages and struggles that entailed for families. She has described the memories she has of living in the self contained area of Wootton Street.
"We are keen to add more stories and photos of people growing up in Bedworth," Mr Burton added.
"We have stories from the 1930s through to the 1990s, and one from the first decade of this century, so accounts are welcome from all ages."
The Heritage Centre in Bedworth opens on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 10.30am until 1pm and Saturday from 10.30am until 3.30pm and admission is free.
Residents are being invited to check out the display as well as contribute any memories they may have too.
