Same again this year! :fuming:

I would have settled for chicken breast but they didn't have that either.

Not sure if Morrisons do the same as Tesco but their cooked meat section they have cooked whole fresh chickens which are very tender unlike their hot freshly cooked chickens with short dates on it where as the pre cooked ones in the cooked meat counter has long sell by dates on and is a lot bigger. I buy one nearly every week as it saves my money on food washing up and bills to cook one
I get dinners curries and sandwiches from it. you can reheat cooked chicken as long it's cooked on a high heat and cooked well which I do with the curries.

According to the good lady, Tesco (arena) had plenty of full fresh turkey this afternoon.

No Tescos around here I'm afraid and I can barely make it to Morrison's and back without blacking out.
I'm having "lamb shank" whatever that is?

I like lamb shanks, though I don't do them very often. Last time I cooked a couple it was in the slow-cooker and I honey glazed them ;)

I was hoping to pick up some cheap Xmas wrapping paper from Morrison's today but almost all their Xmas items had been removed from the aisles!

Something like this happens every year. I thought Saturday was the 20th not the 19th and planned my shopping trip accordingly. That means I'll either run out of festive food and drink or have to make a second shopping trip either just before or just after Xmas.

Not exactly life-threatening but really, really annoying all the same. :fuming:

Just did my Xmas shop and now face the annual "Did I buy enough to last me till the shops reopen after Xmas?" dilemma. :tinfoilhat:

It's worse than usual this year as many shops are closed for an extra day.

EDIT: Just noticed I've run out of pedal-bin liners! :fuming:

I've started doing everything online and have it delivered. - Much better than visiting the shop and the delivery charge works out a lot cheaper than running a car.
