Well, I'm in the doo-doo this morning. Who forgot to defrost the turkey joint? (Had to be me, didn't it?)
When the good lady awakens I'm going to get a right earful.
Day saved though, because I'd got rather a nice joint of pork that I can cook from frozen.
Have to have the turkey for the New Year meal.

Oh dear Rebbonk if you have a micro wave they have a defrost program providing your Turkey is not to big.
Merry Christmas and happy New Year to you and Mrs Rebbonk.

Enjoy your Turkey for New Year's day, Mr & Mrs. Rebbonk!
I actually tried Capon instead of Turkey this year, It was very nice and not too big.
Season Greetings to all here on Coventry Message Board. Old and New.

Well, today we ran out of electricity! Yep about a 1 hour power cut just as Mrs Rebbonk had started cooking the veg. - Of course, we are all electric.
Somehow, I don't think I'm meant to have a Christmas dinner!
