Unfortunately, the good lady demanded that we watch Poirot, which I found a total let down; even though I admire David Suchet.

I did catch bits of Corrie, Ken Barlow's still as miserable as ever isn't he? And oooh dear, poor Sally. Actually, I'm not sure about running a line on breast cancer. I can see problems developing with this particular storyline, whichever way it pans out.

But boy, was Molly mad? I hope she roasts Kevin's chestnuts well and truly!
Of course it'll fit; you just need a bigger hammer.

Actually I think running a breast cancer story line can't be a bad thing. If it highlights this terrible disease in a symathetic and supportive way - I think it'll be good.
Poor Ken - always gets it wrong - hahaha.
As for Molly - that storyline just doesn't do it for me. :(

I watched the first few minutes then gave up on it. Likewise Victoria Wood and Catherine Tate.

I would have watched Doctor Who but for thinking it started at seven o'clock instead of six o'clock!

The shops close early on Thursday and then the whole thing starts over again except that this time around there won't be as many opportunities to stock up on food and drink items. The local Morrison't doesn't display a list of opening times so someone could make the journey there and find it was a wild goose chase. As for the Earlsdon Co-Op, I remember when they still hadn't restocked the shelves two weeks into the New Year!

There are no fish & chip shops open around here until Tuesday so even if Morrisons was open today I'd have nothing hot to eat as soon as I got home. It's not that I can't cook something myself, I just won't feel like it.
