Got our tickets online yesterday - am really looking forward to it. Hope the weather is as forecast and the free bus service from Pool Meadow is up to scratch. Will be especially nice to see the Vulcan (very happy memories of a Vulcan at one of the airshows - http://joybertofcoventry.blogspot.com/2009/04/day-earth-moved.html ) and Battle of Britain Memorial flight. All for a good cause too.

I hope you'll be posting pictures Peter?

I spent many hours working on Vulcans. - Lovely aircraft and very impressive when you get close up. (Always worried about the support crew getting out in an emergency though.) Nothing better on this Earth than hearing the "Vulcan Howl" as the engines run up before belting down the runway.

I hope the weather is kind.
Of course it'll fit; you just need a bigger hammer.

Yes, will be taking a couple of cameras. I think the weather is meant to be cloudy with sunny spells so fingers crossed. Hopefully enough money will be raised to keep that Vulcan flying.

AWESOME! Nice day, pity the Battle of Britain Memorial flight had to cancel due to bad weather at their home base. Hopefully we'll get a "full-on" airshow again soon. More to follow later.

Thanks Peter

It was a shame about the weather, just one of the hazards of living in England I suppose :cloud:

Nice one Pete - shame the weather stopped the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight.
