The picture of me, is on Cannes West Beach April 1954, Now it is a jungle of concrete Hotels, and you have to pay the Hotels to be on the beach. Once a lovely small Forrest led down to the cart track and beach, as free as a bird.
The same to walk The 'path of the Gods' on AMALFI Mountain, now lost through concrete Hotels covering the Mountain. a lovely Italian Girl walked at my side, this old walk was as close to God or whatever, than you can imagine, Oh My, brings tears to my eyes, to remember.
