Have honesty boxes had their day?

This seems such a shame. I remember as a kid dropping a few pennies in these boxes in exchange for fresh produce.

Of course it'll fit; you just need a bigger hammer.

We still have honesty boxes down here in the s.e. - but given time I'm sure they'll disappear - just too many dishonest folks around today sadly.

It's a good feeling to pull up and take what you want and drop the money in the box!!

An honesty box placed in Parliament probably wouldn't last very long either? :roll:
