Dutchy - I am not letting the surprise I received this A.M. go without saying, what a fantastic layout you have laid down and I am sure the rest of the members will agree.
I bet Mr Smithers of the "Beano/Dandy" Forum is having convulsions etc., when he sees/has seen your splendid effort. :stir: :tinfoilhat: :rolling:
Great stuff mate

Thanks StevieG. I'm glad someone likes it. :D

I'm not yet 100% happy with the layout of the new page but I had to put it online before I could tweak it.

I also like it :)

Are you going to allow individual user customisation?
Of course it'll fit; you just need a bigger hammer.

Thanks Rebbonk

Not possible I'm afraid. It can only be modified from the Admin Control Panel and is essentially the same for everyone including me.

Thanks Polly :D

I'm not too keen on the word 'portal' myself (the designer is German) and hope I can change it to "home" or similar.

Oh, I should add that Rebbonk has done more than his share of hard work to keep the board alive while you've been gone.

It's a fancy name for "home page". Most of the news sites I work for have one. The idea is that all the important information is grouped together on a single page so you don't have to search the forum endlessly to find it. It's working doesn't affect the rest of the site so you can ignore it completely if you like.
