I worked on real ones. I carried out much of the re-speccing to Red arrow standard.

I also managed to 'upend' one by sitting on the jet pipe behind the tail fin

Ooooh , those big men were all quite emotional. Was that its maiden flight and what doe it run on, what's its speed?

It can exceed 250mph but you wouldn't be able to see it for long at that speed.

As regards the real ones, I have to say that they 'felt' incredibly cheap when you had been used to working on Hunters, etc..
