Pain.

You may have noticed that I have not been about for the last couple of days. Let me explain.
From personal experience I have always thought that the worst known pain to mankind was to tread, barefoot on an upturned 13 amp plug I was wrong. I have just got over a tooth abscess and that truly is the pain from hell. Went to dentist, except for prescribing Amoxcillyn she did nothing. On my way out the receptionist said that will be £16 please. My doctor prescribed Zap Pain and that was useless. I looked on the 'net and saw this. Mix 50/50 salt and baking powder add water to make a paste and apply to the abscess. Believe it or not 20 minutes later the abscess burst. Relief. I am so happy now I could kiss Di' Abbot. Well, perhaps not.

Perhaps it's just me but salt makes my teeth ache even more?

Having had an abscess back in the 80's you will find it coming back again and again and again, that's something to look forward too.

I know the feeling Jock had them many times yes rinsing with warm salt water will bust them to . The dentist cannot extract the tooth or work on the tooth while its infected with a gum boil they have to treat the infection first with antibiotics when it clears they then can remove or work on the tooth I always sk for it to be removed hence why I am now toothless

Worst pain I've ever had is gout. Never known anything like it.

Thankfully, I only usually get mild attacks.

Hate to say this Jock Manorhouse is correct hence why once I ve had gum boils I ask for the teeth to be taken out.
