Is this the worst - and possibly most dangerous - parking in Coventry?

One resident caught this car parked on the corner of Max Road in Coundon.

Not only is the parking going to fail a driving test, but it is dangerous for both road users and pedestrians.

The car is facing the wrong way in the road completely, but also parked over a junction of two roads, increasing the chances of a potentially lethal accident.

One of the points under rule 243 of the Highway Code state drivers must not stop or park opposite or within 10 metres (32ft) of a junction, except in an authorised parking space.

It isn’t the first time it has happened either.

The resident who sent us in the picture told us that it is the second time in a week it has been parked like it.

The back end of the car is stuck out onto where Redesdale Avenue and Ro-Oak Road meet , and is blocking a dropped kerb which is tactile surfaced for the visually impaired.

It isn’t the first case of bad parking in Coventry.

Recently the city has seen numerous occasions where people haven’t been the smartest in parking their cars.

Not the worst by any means.

I had a run in this morning with a taxi driver who was off the road and completely on the pavement. He wasn't impressed when the dog cocked his leg up his taxi.
Of course it'll fit; you just need a bigger hammer.
