According to our our esteemed local newspaper, this Santa Sleigh is being pulled by a 'Volkswagon Beetle'. It looks more like a bubble car to me?

They couldn't even spell Volkswagen correctly! :clown:

Thanks Rebbonk, I couldn't be sure.

The current generation of Telegraph reporters have probably never even seen an original Beetle let alone a bubble car.

According to today's headline on the same website this Handley Page Victor is a "fighter jet"! :clown:

The Victor was a 'gentleman's' bomber. I spent many hours in Victor cockpits.

The Vulcan was much more like a fighter, mainly because it was originally designed for a single pilot. - It also had fighter style control columns whereas the Victor had the more common 'U' shaped yoke arrangement.

I haven't either!

I'm told that if you stare at this picture long enough you'll eventually see a plane in the background...

If it is a bubble car then the picture is phoney. Many of these cars had engines of less than 200cc. None of the bubbles had power to pull Santa and his sleigh.

Then it's fake Jock as it's defiently a bubble car you can see the handle to open the front on the top left side of the bonnet. I had a beetle 1980 year and the front looked. different.
