David and Samantha Cameron relax during Easter break in Lanzarote

David Cameron and his wife Samantha have been pictured relaxing with a beer during their Easter break in Lanzarote.

The pair were photographed at the Playa Blanca resort after Mr Cameron flew to the Canary Island on Thursday.

The Prime Minister told MPs before leaving Westminster that he needed "more time to think" after a "tough week" dealing with the fallout from the Budget and Iain Duncan Smith's resignation.

Mr Cameron appeared to have left his political woes behind as he sat with a glass of beer in front of him, sharing a joke with his wife.

Mr Cameron was wearing a casual navy shirt, navy trousers and slip on shoes while Samantha wore a white summer dress and wedge heeled sandals and draped a grey wrap around one shoulder.

The PM has come under fire for escaping abroad just weeks after appealing to others to spend Easter in flood-ravaged parts of the UK.

It is the second time in three years that the Prime Minister and his family have spent time on the Canary Island.

Theresa May could do us all a favour by revoking the muppet's passport and not letting him back into the country. :stir:
Of course it'll fit; you just need a bigger hammer.

Petition to ban 'dangerous' Cameron from re-entering UK receives over 23,000 signatures

More than 23,000 people have signed a petition to stop British Prime Minister David Cameron from re-entering the UK after his Easter holiday in Lanzarote, claiming he presents a “clear and present danger” to the country.

“David Cameron presents a clear and present danger to the short, medium and long term interests of the country. As such, the UK should institute a temporary ban on his return to Britain at the conclusion of his holiday in Lanzarote,” says the petition, which is addressed to Home Secretary Theresa May.

At the time of publishing, the petition had received 23,067 signatures.

Many of the petition's signatories commented beneath the document, with supporter Michael Thorpe writing that “David Cameron is a bigger threat to the people of the United Kingdom than any terrorist organisation.”

The petition was launched by independent journalist Kerry-anne Mendoza. A former consultant for the NHS and the banking sector, Mendoza left her former career to join the Occupy movement in 2011 and has since become known for challenging austerity and neoliberal politics.
