National Express Coventry has announced a change to the prices on its buses, with some fares going up and some down.

All adult travelcards are increasing in price along with daysaver tickets for adults and children.

There will be reductions however to all e-Daysaver tickets for five, ten and 15 days.

Passengers can also pay cheaper fares if paying by Swift Pay As You Go smartcard in 2016, with adult singles 10p cheaper and daysavers 20p cheaper than normal fares.

A spokesman for National Express Coventry said: “The adult and child on-bus cash single fares have been frozen at £2 and £1 and the popular city hop fare is also frozen at £1.

“To give better value for families and groups, we are also freezing the price of the family and group daysavers at just £8 and have already reduced the evening ticket to just £5.”
