St. George's Day

Postby pollyanna » Thu Apr 22, 2010 9:51 am

Is anyone doing anything special for St. George's Day???? There's a few pubs trying to be patriotic down here - but all in all it seems pretty quiet.

A few of us are having a celebratory fish & chip supper - any excuse not to cook :D Stevie - take note :rolling:

It was too hot for fish & chips, I made do with ham sandwiches.

It was a bit warm - but saved cooking.

They were absolutely delicious and I had a rather large pickled onion too :D
