For me it's about how one group fares against another. The cuts have not been even-handed, some groups have fared much better or much worse than others. A blanket freeze or even a fixed percentage cut for everyone would have been fairer, but that's not the way it was done.

I'm perversely hoping that everyone else is hit hard by the new budget for no other reason than it means I will be relatively better-off. It's dog-eat-dog.
