Some good news for Coventry drinkers

Having seen that the Rocket is now closed, I hear on the grapevine that the Broomfield Tavern reopens Friday 25th March 2011.

The Broomfield Taverns opening party will be this this friday, the 25th March. Ol' Frisky will be playing a few tunes to warm the atmosphere, the real ales and other beers will be-a-flowing, and we can all enjoy the fact a local bar has actually re-opened!!!!

That's good news Rebbonk

The first time I ever visited the Broomfield it was still possible to drive a car through through the railway arches over Broomfield Place. It's been blocked off since then to all but pedestrians and cyclists.
