Coventry people take more selfies than in most other parts of the country, according to a new study.



A new survey ranked Coventry as fourth in the top 10 list of cities said to be most selfie-obsessed.

In first place is Manchester with snappers being the vainest, followed by Cardiff.

Leicester was in third place in the list of selfie hotspots.

The survey was carreid out for phone firm mobiles.co.uk.

The firm is searching for the UK’s Best Selfies. People can share their selfies with @mobilescouk on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook, with the hashtag #theSelfies to be in with a chance of winning a prestigious Selfie Award. Competition closes Thursday July 31.

The study comes days after Coventry was reported to be the second most unhappy place in the West Midlands.

Last month students at Warwick University took part in a world record bid to take the most selfies taken at same time.
