Christmas tree sparks protest in Brussels

Not local news, but from Brussels
I think the modern Christmas tree is gimmicky, grotesque.
Here in England the Councils are asking us to cut back on energy consumption.

It may be my German ancestry but I'm of the opinion that Xmas trees should always be green and natural looking.



I dislike tinsel and glitter as well.
