If you want to see where 'cashless' takes you, look no further than China and its social credit system. Even talking to the 'wrong' person can see your access to money restricted.

Fight against going cashless, it's really not in your best interests.
Of course it'll fit; you just need a bigger hammer.

I bought a couple of bottles of lemonade (honest) from the local off-licence and the cashier was genuinely surprised I wanted to pay by cash and not by mobile phone! :shock:

There is no banking-app on my phone or personal details of any kind for that matter. It's also a very cheap recycled unit so I don't have to worry if it's stolen or not.

Happened again last night, everyone except me paying by mobile phone! :shock:

Is there some sort of system where benefit claimants are paid that way instead of cash or bank transfer?
