American, but valid. I suspect we are now seeing the press start to break ranks in order to distance themselves from being seen to be complicit with hiding the truth...

10 myths told by COVID experts — and now debunked

In the past few weeks, a series of analyses published by highly respected researchers have exposed a truth about public health officials during COVID:

Much of the time, they were wrong.

To be clear, public health officials were not wrong for making recommendations based on what was known at the time.

That’s understandable. You go with the data you have.

No, they were wrong because they refused to change their directives in the face of new evidence.

When a study did not support their policies, they dismissed it and censored opposing opinions.

At the same time, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention weaponized research itself by putting out its own flawed studies in its own non-peer-reviewed medical journal, MMWR.

In the final analysis, public health officials actively propagated misinformation that ruined lives and forever damaged public trust in the medical profession.

Here are 10 ways they misled Americans:

Misinformation #1: Natural immunity offers little protection compared to vaccinated immunity

A Lancet study looked at 65 major studies in 19 countries on natural immunity. The researchers concluded that natural immunity was at least as effective as the primary COVID vaccine series.

In fact, the scientific data was there all along — from 160 studies, despite the findings of these studies violating Facebook’s “misinformation” policy.

Since the Athenian plague of 430 BC, it has been observed that those who recovered after infection were protected against severe disease if reinfected.

That was also the observation of nearly every practicing physician during the first 18 months of the COVID pandemic.

Most Americans who were fired for not having the COVID vaccine already had antibodies that effectively neutralized the virus, but they were antibodies that the government did not recognize.

Misinformation #2: Masks prevent COVID transmission

Cochran Reviews are considered the most authoritative and independent assessment of the evidence in medicine.

And one published last month by a highly respected Oxford research team found that masks had no significant impact on COVID transmission.

When asked about this definitive review, CDC Director Dr. Rochelle Walensky downplayed it, arguing that it was flawed because it focused on randomized controlled studies.

But that was the greatest strength of the review! Randomized studies are considered the gold standard of medical evidence.

If all the energy used by public health officials to mask toddlers could have been channeled to reduce child obesity by encouraging outdoor activities, we would be better off.

Misinformation #3: School closures reduce COVID transmission

The CDC ignored the European experience of keeping schools open, most without mask mandates.

Transmission rates were no different, evidenced by studies conducted in Spain and Sweden.

Misinformation #4: Myocarditis from the vaccine is less common than from the infection

Public health officials downplayed concerns about vaccine-induced myocarditis — or inflammation of the heart muscle.

They cited poorly designed studies that under-captured complication rates.

A flurry of well-designed studies said the opposite.

We now know that myocarditis is six to 28 times more common after the COVID vaccine than after the infection among 16- to 24-year-old males.

Tens of thousands of children likely got myocarditis, mostly subclinical, from a COVID vaccine they did not need because they were entirely healthy or because they already had COVID.

Misinformation #5: Young people benefit from a vaccine booster

Boosters reduced hospitalizations in older, high-risk Americans.

But the evidence was never there that they lower COVID mortality in young, healthy people.

That’s probably why the CDC chose not to publish its data on hospitalization rates among boosted Americans under 50, when it published the same rates for those over 50.

Ultimately, White House pressure to recommend boosters for all was so intense that the FDA’s two top vaccine experts left the agency in protest, writing scathing articles on how the data did not support boosters for young people.

Misinformation #6: Vaccine mandates increased vaccination rates

President Biden and other officials demanded that unvaccinated workers, regardless of their risk or natural immunity, be fired.

They demanded that soldiers be dishonorably discharged and nurses be laid off in the middle of a staffing crisis.

The mandate was based on the theory that vaccination reduced transmission rates — a notion later proven to be false.

But after the broad recognition that vaccination does not reduce transmission, the mandates persisted, and still do to this day.

A recent study from George Mason University details how vaccine mandates in nine major US cities had no impact on vaccination rates.

They also had no impact on COVID transmission rates.

Misinformation #7: COVID originating from the Wuhan lab is a conspiracy theory

Google admitted to suppressing searches of “lab leak” during the pandemic.

Dr. Francis Collins, head of the National Institutes of Health, claimed (and still does) he didn’t believe the virus came from a lab.

Ultimately, overwhelming circumstantial evidence points to a lab leak origin — the same origin suggested to Dr. Anthony Fauci by two very prominent virologists in a January 2020 meeting he assembled at the beginning of the pandemic.

According to documents obtained by Bret Baier of Fox News, they told Fauci and Collins that the virus may have been manipulated and originated in the lab, but then suddenly changed their tune in public comments days after meeting with the NIH officials.

The virologists were later awarded nearly $9 million from Fauci’s agency.

Misinformation #8: It was important to get the second vaccine dose three or four weeks after the first dose

Data were clear in the spring of 2021, just months after the vaccine rollout, that spacing the vaccine out by three months reduces complication rates and increases immunity.

Spacing out vaccines would have also saved more lives when Americans were rationing a limited vaccine supply at the height of the epidemic.

Misinformation #9: Data on the bivalent vaccine is ‘crystal clear’

Dr. Ashish Jha famously said this, despite the bivalent vaccine being approved using data from eight mice.

To date, there has never been a randomized controlled trial of the bivalent vaccine.

In my opinion, the data are crystal clear that young people should not get the bivalent vaccine.

It would have also spared many children myocarditis.

Misinformation #10: One in five people get long COVID

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention claims that 20% of COVID infections can result in long COVID.

But a UK study found that only 3% of COVID patients had residual symptoms lasting 12 weeks. What explains the disparity?

It’s often normal to experience mild fatigue or weakness for weeks after being sick and inactive and not eating well.

Calling these cases long COVID is the medicalization of ordinary life.

What’s most amazing about all the misinformation conveyed by CDC and public health officials is that there have been no apologies for holding on to their recommendations for so long after the data became apparent that they were dead wrong.

Public health officials said “you must” when the correct answer should have been “we’re not sure.”

Early on, in the absence of good data, public health officials chose a path of stern paternalism.

Today, they are in denial of a mountain of strong studies showing that they were wrong.

At minimum, the CDC should come clean and the FDA should add a warning label to COVID vaccines, clearly stating what is now known.

A mea culpa by those who led us astray would be a first step to rebuilding trust.

A new court case in the US has highlighted a problem I hadn't previously thought about.

What is to stop the NHS from giving a blood transfusion contaminated by the vaccine to someone who has previously rejected the vaccine?

I'm not aware that when you donate blood they even ask about your covid status. This could be yet another scandal in waiting.

Incidentally, I understand that there is a 'healthy' market for unvaxed sperm donors. - I'm available! :rolling:

Analysis: COVID Vaccines Caused 300,000 Excess Deaths in 2022 Alone

Every day Dr. McCullough and I speak to people who have been injured—or have a family member who has been killed—by one of the COVID-19 vaccines. Almost every day, McCullough examines one or more patients with vaccine injuries in his clinical practice. Because he has become a “go-to” doctor for people who are suffering from these syndromes, his view of the problem is not statistical, but at the individual human level.

The United States has a census-counted population of 332 million [estimate by U.S. Census Bureau, July 1, 2021]. Thus, if even a small percentage of these people are injured or killed by COVID-19 vaccines, it’s still a frightful number.

Consider that 58,220 men were killed in ten years of fighting in Vietnam. This was just a tiny percentage of the 100 million American men counted in the 1968 census, but it was still a huge number of men to die in their early twenties.

Yesterday, former BlackRock portfolio manager Ed Dowd and his analysts at the research firm, Phinance Technologies, published a report on the cost of the COVID-19 vaccine program in the United States for the year 2022.

I know from multiple, probing conversations with Dowd that he is a conservative analyst. A serious and sober-minded man, he is ruthless in eliminating biases and wild assumptions. He and his team have focused their research on the 148 million Americans (between the ages of 18–64) who are employed. The Bureau of Labor Statistics compiles much data on this cohort, as does the life insurance industry because many employed people receive policies as part of their compensation packages.

Dowd’s report is grim. As he encapsulated the results in a tweet:

Image

As a true crime author, I always focus on the human cost. I know that the death of a single young person can devastate a family and even an entire community. “26.6 million injuries; 1.36 million disabilities; 300,000 excess deaths.” Note that this death count in one year is 5.2 times the number of men killed in ten years of combat in Vietnam.

Perhaps the most extraordinary thing about this state of affairs is that most Americans don’t know it’s happening. Every day, young people are dying from heart attacks, strokes, and seizures caused by COVID-19 vaccines. Most of their families and friends are led to believe that they just died—suddenly and unexpectedly—of acute conditions that were extremely rare in young people prior to 2021.

Slowly, people are beginning to wise up...

The jab victims denied heart treatment, and the remedies the NHS won’t even consider
By
Neville Hodgkinson

A YOUNG man I know has been suffering heart pain and exhaustion for several weeks. He has twice been taken to hospital by paramedic teams called as an emergency when stabbing pains became intense. He has consulted his GP and been seen by two cardiologists. Following a scan, they diagnosed pericarditis, inflammation of the lining around the heart. He has been asked all sorts of questions about his lifestyle, including physical fitness and mental health, but has received no clue as to what might have caused his condition.

Not once has anyone asked him whether he received the Covid vaccine, despite heart inflammation being a recognised risk from these gene-based products, especially for young men. He had two shots, believing it was compulsory if he was to be allowed to travel.

I tentatively mentioned to him research going back at least two years that highlighted the risk (see here, here, and most recently here), but he clearly finds it hard to contemplate the possibility that the authorities could have so failed him. A kind of cognitive dissonance sets in when we have a deep faith in modern medicine and yet are confronted with evidence that it has gone badly wrong.

The avoidance of any mention of the jabs during my friend’s investigations supports the case that medics are also finding it hard to reconcile the vaccine disaster with their sense of professionalism. How many people across the UK and elsewhere, I wonder, are suffering additional harm because of this taboo?

According to a Justice for Jab Victims campaign being run by the Daily Express, hundreds who became seriously ill after having the Covid jab have found themselves locked out of the UK’s Vaccine Damage Payment scheme. One of the problems, the paper says, is that scientists believe the issue has become so politicised that they fear rocking the boat.

Calling for more research into the immune system responses to the jab, an immunologist told the Express that there seemed to be a reluctance to question seriously what is going on, either with the vaccines or with the infection itself.

What this means is that for the present, countless others may be suffering in silence, and many ‘excess deaths’ from all causes being reported around the globe may be linked to the jabs. Since deaths from Covid itself were largely among the elderly and those with serious infirmities, we should be seeing lowered death rates as the pandemic dies down. But that is not the case. People are dying in ever greater numbers, and insurance data in the US suggest death claims among people of working age are rocketing.

A multinational team of scientists who spelled out this month the detailed mechanisms by which the gene-based vaccines can harm have called for safety studies, bypassed in the midst of the Covid panic, to be performed now. They say drug regulators, and the medical community, need to pick up the pieces with a giant research effort on vaccine injury, focusing on autoimmunity.

When the body fails to clear the genetic instructions introduced by the jabs, the gene products cause cells in various organs and tissues to express a toxic protein (the infamous ‘spike’ of the genetically engineered virus). The immune system sees the cells as foreign, so they become subject to attack.

The eminent American cardiologist Dr Peter McCullough, one of those sounding the alarm, says that with 92 per cent of the US population injected at least once, ‘we have nearly the entire US population at risk’ of long- as well as short-term consequences.

The virus itself, as well as the jab, can cause lasting problems. McCullough posted a recent blog [March 23] in which he wrote: ‘Over three years into the pandemic, with nearly the entire country having become sick with SARS-CoV-2, a virus engineered to invade the body, there are millions suffering with long-hauler syndrome [also called Long Covid].

‘Approximately half of patients admitted to intensive care with Covid-19 will have post-Covid syndrome, now understood to be due to persistence of the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein within cells, tissues, and organs.

‘Those vaccinated have been additionally loaded with spike, so may have even a worse course with prolonged symptoms including fatigue, lethargy, brain fog, muscle loss, skin and hair changes, sleeplessness, and effort intolerance.’

McCullough has also drawn attention to findings which suggest the vaccine is much more damaging to the heart than the virus. A review of 50 autopsy studies (covering 548 hearts) of patients who died of or with Covid found that none had extensive myocarditis (inflammation of the heart muscle) as the cause of death, even though the virus itself was present in about two-thirds of the hearts.

This review should be the ‘nail in the coffin’ of suggestions that the Covid virus itself is causing an observed surge of sudden deaths from myocarditis, and a burgeoning caseload from the condition, McCullough says. ‘The only new proven cause of heart damage in the human population is Covid-19 vaccination.’

Hope for victims is on the horizon. Doctors are starting to realise that crippling nervous system disorders are attributable to the jabs, and may be treatable.

‘The magnitude of the problem has driven an all-encompassing search for management strategies to resolve the syndrome(s),’ McCullough says.

He cites this preprint paper with more than 300 references, summarising possible treatments including prescription drugs, over-the-counter medicines and food supplements. It lists a host of approaches which can help to guard against cell damage, including the readily available and widely used anti-oxidants vitamin C and NAC (N-acetyl cysteine).

McCullough adds that in his own clinical practice he has found nattokinase, a protein derived from fermented soybean production, to be ‘the most compelling and scientifically supported approach to clear spike protein out of the body’. Studied extensively in Japan, Korea, and China, the product has been shown to dissolve blood clots, helping to maintain blood vessel structure, improve blood flow, and lower the risk of heart disease.

A pre-Covid review of the drug found it to be safe and reasonably well-tolerated. ‘Patients wanting to use the supplement ahead of the emerging science should discuss with a knowledgeable healthcare professional and be on alert for intolerances, allergic reactions, or bleeding complications,’ McCullough says.

For patients with lingering signs of active Covid infection, he prescribes the long-established, low-cost drug ivermectin, despite intense efforts by the medical establishment to discredit its use in Covid in favour of the experimental vaccines.

Patients should push their doctors to refer them to clinical trials, and when that is not feasible, ‘empiric therapy’ can be pursued: therapy based on clinical experience, in the absence of full trial evidence for which we might have to wait years.

Meanwhile, although no therapeutic claims can be made, ‘we must be perceptive as patients and open-minded as clinicians to come up with reasonable approaches that can be used to help those sick now with post-Covid syndromes.’

A co-author of the review of possible treatments cited by McCullough is the UK’s Dr Tess Lawrie, well-known to regular readers of TCW – Defending Freedom as a long-standing campaigner for rational use of repurposed drugs to mitigate the effects of Covid-19. She co-founded BIRD (the British Ivermectin Recommendation Development Group), an international consortium of experts promoting research on the drug.

In 2021, Lawrie made public a dramatic demonstration of the distortion of medical science by mega-wealthy healthcare funding agencies. It came after an apparent U-turn by Dr Andrew Hill, a Liverpool University-affiliated virologist asked to report to the World Health Organisation on studies suggesting ivermectin could be a safe and effective Covid treatment.

Four days after Liverpool University received $40million from Unitaid, a lobby group extensively funded by the Gates Foundation, Hill changed a favourable analysis to a report concluding that more studies were needed.

Hill, an adviser to the Bill Gates and Clinton foundations, told Lawrie in a conversation recorded on Zoom that he was in a ‘very difficult position’ because of his sponsor – Unitaid – having a say in his study conclusions.

A similar fate befell hydroxychloroquine, an inexpensive, disease-modifying, anti-inflammatory drug which, used early and appropriately, saves the lives of high-risk Covid patients. It has been shown to be highly effective, especially when used with certain antibiotics and a zinc food supplement.

American lawyer Robert F Kennedy Jr, founder and chairman of Children’s Health Defense, a non-profit organisation fighting corruption in medical science, says many researchers received rich incentives to support the vaccine ‘gold rush’, and do nothing to obstruct it, such as by reducing the burden of the disease in other ways.

In his book The Real Anthony Fauci: Bill Gates, Big Pharma, and the Global War on Democracy and Public Health, Kennedy says that at the outset of the pandemic Dr Fauci, the US government’s lead on Covid, ‘used wildly inaccurate modelling’ to justify the economically crippling lockdowns.

Neil Ferguson of London’s Imperial College, with funding of $148.8million from the Gates foundation, was the author of the model. It overestimated US deaths by 525 per cent.

Kennedy added that Bill Gates was principal investor in many of the new Covid vaccines. Fauci championed one of these, the Moderna jab, from which his agency and employees expected a lucrative outcome.

The pharmaceutical companies Moderna and Pfizer have made well over $100billion so far from their Covid vaccines. Tens of thousands of deaths have been reported to regulators in the wake of the jabs, and millions have suffered adverse reactions, but for as long as medical professionals, politicians, journal editors and most of the mainstream media continue to insist the products are ‘safe and effective’, the tragedy continues.

Yet more obscuration and outright lies from TPTB :fuming: :fuming: :fuming:

Masks Cause Headaches, Itching, and Lower Oxygen Intake: Study

A systematic review of 2,168 studies that looked into the adverse effects of wearing masks during the COVID-19 pandemic has found that the practice led to negative health consequences, including itching, headaches, and restriction of oxygen.

“We found significant effects in both medical surgical and N95 masks, with a greater impact of the second,” states the review, published in the “Frontiers in Public Health” on April 5. A meta-analysis of multiple studies found that headache was the “most frequent symptom” among mask wearers, with a prevalence of 62 percent for general mask use and up to 70 percent when using N95 masks. Shortness of breath was observed at 33 percent for general mask use and 37 percent among N95 users.

While 17 percent of surgical mask wearers experienced itching, this number was at 51 percent among users of N95. Acne prevalence among mask users was at 38 percent and skin irritation was at 36 percent. Dizziness was found to be prevalent among 5 percent of subjects.

“Masks interfered with O2-uptake and CO2-release and compromised respiratory compensation,” the review states. “Though evaluated wearing durations are shorter than daily/prolonged use, outcomes independently validate mask-induced exhaustion-syndrome (MIES) and down-stream physio-metabolic disfunctions. MIES can have long-term clinical consequences, especially for vulnerable groups.”

The restriction of oxygen uptake and hindrance in carbon-di-oxide release was identified as more significant among users of N95 masks. Continuous rebreathing of carbon dioxide results in the “right-shift of hemoglobin-O2 saturation curve.”

“Since O2 and CO2 homeostasis influences diverse down-stream metabolic processes, corresponding changes toward clinically concerning directions may lead to unfavorable consequences such as transient hypoxemia and hypercarbia, increased breath humidity, and body temperature along with compromised physiological compensations,” the review states.

The review also said that several mask-related symptoms may have been misinterpreted as symptoms of long COVID. “In any case, the possible MIES contrasts with the WHO definition of health,” it states, referring to the World Health Organization.

It suggested that the side effects of face masks be assessed based on risk-benefit analysis after taking into consideration their effectiveness against viral transmissions. If “strong empirical evidence” showing the effectiveness of masks is absent, the study recommended that wearing masks should not be mandated, “let alone enforced by law.”

Sudden Mask Policy Change, Suppressing Studies

Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, existing data on respiratory viruses had shown that there was no basis for wearing masks to prevent their spread. “All the studies done in the world until 2020 showed that there is no justification for this,” Yoav Yehezkelli, a specialist in internal medicine and a lieutenant colonel in the Israel Defense Forces, said in an interview with The Epoch Times in January.

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention as well as the WHO issued guidelines that there was no need for wearing masks in the general public, he pointed out.

But in 2020 following the COVID-19 outbreak, recommendations on mask-wearing around the world suddenly changed “without having any new professional support to confirm that it does indeed have effectiveness against respiratory infection.”

A December letter that he co-wrote and sent to the Israel Medical Association Journal pointed to multiple studies suggesting that wearing masks can end up causing harm.

Potential negative effects include headaches, shortness of breath, a dip in blood oxygen levels, a rise in carbon dioxide levels, concentration difficulties, and bacterial contamination. The accumulation of CO2 can end up causing tiredness, blurriness, and sleepiness, he noted.

There have also been attempts to subdue studies that expose the ineffectiveness of masks. A 2023 study published in the Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews stated that wearing masks made “little or no difference” when it came to the transmission of COVID-19.

A columnist at The New York Times published an opinion piece titled “Here’s Why the Science Is Clear That Masks Work” and reached out to Cochrane for its view. The editor-in-chief at Cochrane then issued a statement saying that it’s an “inaccurate and misleading interpretation” to say the study shows that masks do not work, adding that the publication was “engaging” with the authors on updating the article’s abstract.

However, the authors refused to do so, with the lead author insisting that “there is just no evidence that [masks] make any difference … full stop.”

Andrew Bridgen: MP expelled by Tories after Covid vaccine comments

Image

The Conservative Party has expelled MP Andrew Bridgen after he compared Covid-19 vaccines to the Holocaust and was found to have breached lobbying rules.

The member for North West Leicestershire had already lost the party whip, meaning he was sitting as an independent.

But the Tories have now stripped him of his party membership as well.

Mr Bridgen said his expulsion "confirms the culture of corruption, collusion and cover-ups".

A Conservative Party spokesman said Mr Bridgen was expelled "following the recommendation of a disciplinary panel".

He has 28 days, from the date of his expulsion on 12 April, to appeal.

Mr Bridgen said he intended to stand again at the next election.

"My expulsion from the Conservative Party under false pretences only confirms the culture of corruption, collusion and cover-ups which plagues our political system," he said in a statement.

"I have been a vocal critic of the vaccine rollout and the party have been sure to make an example of me.

"I am grateful for my newfound freedom and will continue to fight for justice for all those harmed, injured and bereaved due to governmental incompetence.

"I will continue to serve my constituents as I was elected to do and intend to stand again at the next election."

Mr Bridgen has spent months voicing concerns about the safety of Covid vaccines.

In December he called in Parliament for a "complete suspension" of the vaccines based on what he described as, "robust data of significant harms and little ongoing benefit".

He lost the whip in January after posting a tweet describing the Covid vaccine roll-out as "the biggest crime against humanity since the Holocaust".
