How they teach arithmetic today....

When Joybert Jnr started school a couple of years ago they explained at a parents meeting that the way maths was taught was very different to how we were taught and that we would probably confuse our kids by trying to 'help' them doing it our way. Sounds like this book could be a worthwhile investment, thanks for the link.
