"Cuts" is a relative term. The deficit was £120billion a year when the Tories came to power and it's still £120billion a year today. All Osborne has done is skate around the edges picking on easy targets. The three biggest items of government expenditure haven't yet been touched and its unlikely they will be before the 2015 general election. Whoever wins that election will then be forced to cut spending by as much as 40% across the board.
