Perhaps it is designed to fool out-of-towners and dim-wits that they will be living in Earlsdon?
Wouldn't dream of living there. Wouldn't mind living in the old college though, at least it is set back from the road and has a bit of character. Guess it will be turned into offices though.
I think to get planning approval for these schemes you just have to include a few offices and tell the council that it will create jobs. Once they hear 'jobs' it gets rubber stamped. They don't seem to consider all the existing empty units at business parks etc.
