Potters Green Starlings

We've been having a terriffic show by a big flock of starlings around Potters Green for a while now around dusk as they head for their roosting site.

There's a couple of thousand we think and they swoop around in a tight flock making incredible patterns in the sky. You might have seen similar things on TV. It's called Murmuration apparently. Anybody else seen them ?

Funny you mentioned that because for the last month or so here in Leamington on certain evenings, we have seen huge numbers of starlings, many thousands swooping around the area, it is incredibe to watch the speed they go and all the formations they make, it is as if there is a leader.
