A free e-books service is proving popular in Warwickshire's libraries, the county council said.
A 12-month trial using 188 downloadable books was launched at the end of November.
Nearly half of all the books were downloaded in the first two weeks with fiction and biographies proving popular. More titles are to be added.
The books can be downloaded onto most computers and laptops and onto some mobile phones.
Singer Susan Boyle's biography was the first e-book to be borrowed.
E-books can be borrowed for up to three weeks with books automatically recalled at the end of the loan period.
