Train services between Coventry and Birmingham are still subject to delays and cancellations due to the freezing weather conditions.

Services were suspended on Monday because of damage to overhead wiring at Berkswell, and the weather is still hampering some services.

Chiltern Trains said it was running a reduced service between Birmingham and Stratford and Birmingham and London.

The Met Office is warning of widespread ice on untreated roads and more snow.

Overnight, the Midlands could see anywhere between 5-10cm of snow, perhaps more in places, which could carry on into Wednesday's rush hour.

Nearly 600 homes in south Warwickshire were left without power at about 0730 GMT.

Central Networks, the company responsible for power distribution, said at 1500 GMT, 51 customers in Henley in Arden were still affected.

A spokesman said it was a fault in a high voltage cable and engineers were working to fix it as quickly as possible.
