There has been a rise in antisocial behaviour at the site
Police have acted after a gang of teenage girls caused weeks of mayhem with antisocial behaviour at a busy Coventry shopping park.
Officers from the Longford Neighbourhood Policing Team acted this week, issuing banning orders to prevent the behaviour from continuing.
Police are working with other agencies and the families of the girls involved. It comes amid rising issues at the shopping complex.
A police spokesman said: "We have seen a small spike in anti-social behaviour, particularly around Arena Retail Park.
"This week, we have stopped a large group of teenage girls who have been causing issues for the retailers over the last fortnight.
"We have issued eight Banning Notices from the site which will be valid for 12 months and are in the process of doing multi-agency visits to the parents of the girls involved."
