A popular Earlsdon shop that has served locals for almost 30 years is up for sale. Down to Earth has been a focal point in the community for 27 years.

But, according to a listing on CoGoGo, it is being put on the market due to retirement, stating 'it's a golden opportunity for a new owner to take the reins of a thriving enterprise that blends passion with purpose'.

Down to Earth, which is an organic food shop, has been described as one of the most well established in the area and the listing says it was featured in The Guardian newspaper's list of Britain's best independent shops.

The asking price for shop is £499,999 plus Stock At Valuation (SAV) and the listing says that the new owner would be acquiring a 'true gem'.

"Down to Earth Organic is a true gem, specialising in high-quality, ethically sourced organic produce and eco-friendly goods," the listing states.

"With a charming, community-focused feel, the business offers a wide range of organic foods, supplements, household essentials, and more. It has excellent customer reviews on Google and an inviting online shop that complements the in-store offering. "The business is fully managed by the owner and has potential for expansion in online sales, community events, or extended trading hours."
