Major National Express bus changes over Christmas and New Year...

Passengers have been urged to plan ahead over Christmas and New Year
National Express has announced a series of bus service changes across Coventry over the Christmas and New Year period. Passengers are advised to check timetables in advance, as schedules may vary on key dates in December and January.
Several Coventry routes will operate on amended timetables over the festive period. Some will run to Saturday or special schedules, including the 13A, 18A, 21A and the X30.
Passengers are urged to plan ahead, as late-night and early-morning journeys may be affected. No National Express buses will run on Christmas Day, with limited amended Sunday timetables resuming from early morning on Boxing Day.
Special timetables will also be in place on other key dates, including December 27, 29 and 30, as well as New Years Eve. Adjustments will affect early morning and late night journeys on routes such as the X1. Services are expected to return to normal across the network from January 3.
Saturday, December 27
Special timetables will operate on the following routes across Coventry:
- 13A | Coventry to Willenhall
- 18A | Coventry to Tile Hill South
- 21A | Middlemarch Business Park to Coventry
- X30 | Coventry to Ansty Park
Service X1
- Journeys from Coventry will start at 2.54am
- Journeys from Birmingham will start at 4.05am
Monday, December 29 and Tuesday, December 30
Special timetables will continue on the following services across Coventry:
- 13A | Coventry to Willenhall
- 18A | Coventry to Tile Hill South
- 21A | Middlemarch Business Park to Coventry
- X30 | Coventry to Ansty Park
New Years Eve
Most routes will run to their usual Saturday timetables on New Years Eve, with special timetables on the following routes across Coventry:
- 13A | Coventry to Willenhall
- 18A | Coventry to Tile Hill South
- 21A | Middlemarch Business Park to Coventry
- X30 | Coventry to Ansty Park
Service X1
- Last journey from Coventry will be at 11pm
- Last journey from Birmingham will be at 12.15am
New Years Day
Amended Sunday services will run from around 7am on selected routes across Coventry, including:
