Greggs makes major announcement on future of Bedworth town centre shop

Greggs has confirmed that it is to relocate its Bedworth town centre shop - into a well known unit. It currently has a shop in All Saints Square.

But there has been much speculation in the community about whether the busy shop is set to move to a larger premises, mainly the old Boots store nearby.

CoventryLive contacted Greggs about this and a spokesperson has confirmed to us that the store is moving into the old home of Boots. The spokesperson also confirmed when the new-look, larger shop will open.

A Greggs spokesperson said: “We're excited to be welcoming customers into our new and improved shop in All Saints Square in Nuneaton in Spring 2026. In the meantime, customers can shop all of our Greggs goodies at our 32 All Saints Square shop."

The relocation to the old Boots store comes as an application was submitted for the first floor of the building. While the ground floor is set to become the new home of Greggs, the first floor could soon play home to flats if planning permission is granted.

It would see the first floor converted into four, one bedroom self-contained flats and one, two bedroom self-contained flat. It would also see a new cycle storage created at the rear of the building.
