New Morrisons Daily opens in Coventry

Shoppers have been flocking to a new Morrisons in Coventry. It is located on Hexworthy Avenue in Styvechale.

CoventryLive understands the building has recently been transformed into a Morrisons Daily. It opened last Thursday (September 18).

Locals can find a variety of chilled and frozen foods alongside leading brands such as Onken, Maltesers and Tropicana. It also stocks a variety of Morrisons' own-brand ranges, including 'Savers' and 'The Best.'

Morrisons Daily franchises are run by a third party, and there are more than 1,600 stores across the UK and the Channel Islands. Customers can visit the new Styvechale Morrisons from 7am to 10pm Monday through Sunday.

Manager Kanthakumar said: “We are really happy with how Morrisons has supported us throughout the process to deliver a great store. It has been fantastic to see so many customers visiting for the first time and making use of their More Card to start building up points. We are excited about continuing to give our community a brilliant shopping experience.”

A spokesman for Morrisons added: “It will offer customers a carefully tailored mix of Morrisons' own-brand products alongside branded favourites. As well as new ranges, the store has received a complete redesign internally and externally, incorporating Morrisons' bright, modern branding. Fresh food is at the heart of the store, and we hope customers will love it.”
